I probably go Dillon Gabriel first, maybe Slovis 2. I haven't watched Ward or the LSU guys. The OC will make a difference in terms of pecking order, as well.

How about JT Daniels?

JT Daniels has to be one of the most overrated QB's in college I have seen in the longest time. The dude is made out of paper and can't even play a full season but still seems to be on every pre-season Heisman discussion lol

It's pretty funny that there are 3 former USC quarterbacks in/will be in the transfer portal: Kedon Slovis, JT Daniels, and Jack Sears.

So our new Coach and OC will have not even watched the 3 back-up QBs in practice. This means they have to decide whether to go after a transfer QB they have game tape and stats on or go with the guys we already have based on what. their recruiting rankings? In their shoes I go after a transfer so you have a known floor in the QB room and hope one of the young ones is better and wins the job.

To start a new coaching era with no idea of what you have at QB is a risk that might make a high profile OC candidate say no thanks, I'll stay where I'm at.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Adrian Martinez come to Oregon. The kid has a good arm and can run, if needed. He's currently projected to go to Cal.

Why would you like to see Adrian Martinez after his time at Nebraska?

UCLA has a top ranked QB coming into this class as it is.

Martinez looked good in his freshman year. If we could get THAT guy to Oregon, I'd be happy. Otherwise, no.

UW has gotten former Indiana QB Michael Pennix as a transfer. That should be a decent fit as he played for DeBoer at IU.

I heard some speculation that he is waiting, out of respect to the HC who has taken him to multiple jobs, that he will wait until after signing day to declare his intent of going to Oregon. This way his declaration does not disrupt FSUs signing day.

Which could also be a part of the reason why Travis Hunter flipped to Jacksonville St or helped make it easier for him. Word is that Deion is also trying to get Shemar Stewart on the DL to also end up there. Stewart was recruited by Lanning at Georgia as well as having prior interest in the Ducks. He could potentially be in play if we're dreaming for a moment.
