So many of his players seem to be putting in some time to hopefullly be drafted. Oh for the days of Pritchard and Brooks.

Altman's half court offense is pretty average. He does really well when he has guards and stretch forwards that can shoot the ball really well with the inside out game. The confusing thing is that we it seems like we don't have a lot of those type of players on the roster this year that truly will fit his system. Ware actually shoots it pretty well. If he stays one more year, I think that would be a great start.
Agree he should get some slack. If Ware stays, the Ducks bringing in 3 ESPN top-50 recruits, and they get a few portal dudes with experience, next year could be exciting. A lot will depend on how many dollars the collective is allocating for hoops.

That is my problem with Altman’s system, if he can bring in five, six, seven new guys…… how about bring in one or two and then bring in some high school recruits who learn to play as a team. Again we are at the end of December and talking about next year. I am in the portion of the fan base Altman has lost.

Agreed, Altman has been incredible for us.

The problem with College Hoops and Fan Interest in general I think has to do with the beginning of the season starting during the height of interest in College Football and the NFL. Once Football is over the interest goes back up.
