I don't think we'll see what the impact of the LA schools going to the B1G is until they actually do it. It's still conceptual right now.

Doubt that’s why we got him. None of these players care if they go against Purdue or WSU.
Maybe the fact that he did not hear from Alex Grinch during the last two week of the recruiting cycle had something to do with it. He emphasized how important relationships were to him.

I guess the coaches at SC and their fan base just assume those championships from 20+ years ago resonate with these 17-18 year old kids. /S

Lol. That’s just annother excuse made up by a drunk mod. He can’t have it both ways, either he didn’t hear from him, or he called him and asked him not to visit UO last week. The story changes daily with Summers .

USC mods said the same kind of things about Mase Funa when he signed. That seems to have worked out okay, coming back for year four.

Edit: I see they are also running down Matayo U. now, saying that he is overrated and should only be a 3-star. We'll see, I guess.

USC fans certainly have some pretty interesting opinions, especially considering the fact that they can't even win a PAC-12 title.

Some pretty harsh criticism of Donte in that link. Seems like he did great with the DB's while he was here.

I’d like to see the evidence that he did good here. He landed Wright, sure. But everyone else big time he landed didn’t get in or flipped before signing day. Or are in jail now.

That's not bad...

It's the kind of speed that gets a guy drafted on measurable traits alone.

Will be interesting to see if he can carve out a role this year, there is certainly a few spots in the rotation for young guys to step into.

Really excited to see what Stein does with him. Devon Allen make a huge impact his freshman year largely by just being faster than everyone, hope Pleasant can do something similar.
