With Moga pushing his commitment back to take more visits and Van Buren not announcing until July, it may be a while before we know what Oregon does for QB this class. It'd be really bad if they didn't get either one since they'd be scraping the bottom of their QB board.

Moga decided not to push it back after all. Just announced he's committed to Oregon. No idea if they promised him that he'd be the only QB taken, but it would make sense to take 2 QBs in the cycle. Gives you 2 chances to hit on one, and would still have at most 4 scholarship QBs next year.

QUACK! 2024 QB Luke Moga commits

After saying he was delaying his commitment, 2024 QB Luke Moga has committed to the Ducks. Sounds very much like Oregon could take 2 QBs this class so Van Buren is still a possibility.

I’m really surprised about this with Dylan Raiola visiting this weekend. I guess either the coaches chose Moga over Van Buren or Van Buren isn’t making a decision anytime soon. Makes sense to take two QB’s but would be weird to take two lower rated QB’s this early when there’s guys like Raiola out there you can try to get, maybe it isn’t realistic but might as well try.

I could be mistaken, but I don’t think Raiola is confirmed to be visiting this weekend. He’s in Oregon for the Elite 11, but think there have only been rumors of him swinging down to see the Ducks. I suspect they would gladly take Raiola if he showed legit interest, but I think he’s a long shot at best.

Since we now have Moga, a really good QB, might as well go after a big time long shot like Raiola.

Van Buren isn't committing until July so it makes sense Oregon would take a QB like Moga right now. It does sound like both know Oregon is taking 2 QBs this class so that'd probably explain why MVB is still visiting.
