And just maybe he'll be a kid who will work his butt off because Oregon is where he always wanted to be and maybe he'll be a great teammate who excels on the field and in the class room. Maybe he's very coachable and will be a solid contributor.
I get that there is always an amount of unknowns with these kids but giving them a chance is always a good thing. When that Mariota kid signed he was not a big deal either. And that Herbert kid had very few offers so making an early assessment might be a dangerous thing. Just my two cents.

In today’s CFB these types of players come at almost zero risk. If he doesn’t work out you encourage him to hit the portal.
