By far the best DL recruiting the Ducks have had in my lifetime.
Add them to the 3 future NFL true FR we have, and this DL is going to be like Clemson or even Bama like. Crazy to see any team on the west coast recruiting a DL like this.

Armstead and Buckner were in the same class. Until 2 of these guys are all pro, I’ll go with that group.

Ultimately I'd say that since Solomon is a clear Edge/2pt stance guy and that Rushing is a DE/3pt stance guy I'd say that Solomon is a bigger need if you were left with only 1 to choose just because pure pass rush is so vital. Watching his mid season H/L you can see him pop off the film with his pass rush moves and athleticism.

Other than the scholarship # issue, there isn't a need to choose between them because you'd play them both at the same time.

They didn’t have the depth or interior we are going to have. Not even close. And the LBs on those teams were comically bad. Even a not great Cal team scored 44 on them.

What would have been all time great?

Easy. In a 4-3 setup, Buckner and Armstead, plus Olshansky and Ngata.

Iknow, different classes, but the killer factor along the line?

Priceless!

If I'm building a typical 43/1-gap scheme my tackles are Haloti and DeFo (frankly they are picks #1 and #2 for any scheme) followed by KT at one DE spot and likely Dion at the other. From a college perspective, Nick Reed and Kenny Rowe would also be great choices as pure pass rushers imo over the bigger brutes who are better suited at DT.

For Dan's scheme, I think he's taking Haloti, DeFo, KT and then probably Armstead but he might tell you Dorlus, who I just saw get his first 1st round grade in an ESPN mock that saw him go in the 20s (and Franklin #32).

I don't think it has been announced yet, but 247 hinted at early next week.

Igor only makes it if we don’t have a surprise drug test before the natty.

Does anyone know if Rushing has taken any official visits or plans to since re-opening his recruitment? I’d love to see him at the USC game.
