I usually don't watch early games - still stuck on football, but man did they look sloppy. It was hard to determine an offensive plan. The thing that was really working was getting it in to Dante, but it didn't seem to be happening very often. I don't think I have ever seen such bad free throw shooting at the university level. Dante looked like he was just taking shots from that distance for the first time in his life, but even the guards were missing them. I don't know - the final four team was so good, but the teams have just looked so incomplete since Pritchard left.
I'm going to petition that we cancel the remainder of the season. This is the most content I've been with the basketball team in years and I don't want to ruin it.
Loved the calm play of Rigsby and Couisinard. You need that. FT’s need addressing, obviously. Rigsby with the poster of the year. But he is going to be pivotal, like Couisinard. Dante just needs to stay healthy. If I never see Zarzuela play again, I’d be happy. His +/- has to be ridiculous. Can’t wait for Cook and Shelstad to get time. Bittle will be the glue.
