This says its 25 to 6 once you take away duplicate schools (Bates/Leavitt) and account for an inactive player. From a qualitative standpoint I agree with STU that Idaho football at the top end doesn't compete with the top end of Oregon, or the median levels and we've quietly been producing some high level Defenders of late and going forward.
S: Jordan Poyer, Talanoa Huafanga, Dallin Leavitt
CB: Elijah Molden (his little brother Josiah will likely come out ranked higher, class of 26)
LB: Samson Ebukam, David Mayo
DE: Tui Tuipolutu, Osa Odigizuha
DT: Marlon Tuipolutu, Brandon Pili
QB: Herbert
TE: Luke Musgrave, John Bates, Teagan Quitoriano, Cole Turner
WR: Samari Toure, Kendrick Bourne
OT: Blake Brandel
OG: Isaac Seumalo, Ben Bartch
Idaho goes Taysom Hill QB, Leighton Vander Esch LB, Jonah Williams DE, Scott Matlock DT, John Ojukwu OL, Jesse Davis OL.

Both Brady Breeze and Chase Cota are on NFL practice squads as well. Both from Medford

Trending pretty heavily to Oregon. Landing him would give us the #3 class. Top 3 class in recruiting and top 3 class in transfers. WILD.

Seems to be some rumblings (nothing more than that at this point) that he could possibly forego the mission.

Anyway he is sturdy framed with length and jaw dropping track times. If and when he shows up on campus the ceiling is incredibly high. Hope they can win the 2024 and 2026 signing battles to get him on board.
I've never watched games in the Dakotas or Wyoming, but Idaho and Alaska have the lowest quality high school football I've ever seen. Their best teams are on the level of Scappoose. Linemen over 180 pounds are the exception.
I know I've been gone awhile but did Newberg improve? I would have used Newberg long as we weren't talking wrestling.

I think most of us are on the same page...like it for recruiting rankings as well momentum, but taking the wait and see approach on how he actually develops. Feel like he could really be a boom or bust guy. We all remember Cam Colvin

I'm putting more faith in Bair, think he will end up a solid WR

And waiting to see if he ever makes it to campus. If he doesn’t take his mission, then I’d be more excited.
But yes for recruiting momentum (and rankings), it’s great!

I don't mind having a guy go on mission. You get the kid at age 20-23 instead of 18-21. BYU has made it work. Also, can't recall any LDS kids getting arrested by EPD.
Colvin turned out OK. In those days getting a 4* WR was such a big deal.

Whose to say we can't put Bair and Colvin on the same team come 2027 after he takes his mission?
