Although reffing quality may have been poor, it didn't seem overly one-sided to me.buckmarkduck wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 2:54 amNebraska will win. CU won’t have the refs in their pocket

Sure, I saw those too. But It still felt throughout the game that there were missed calls both ways.buckmarkduck wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 1:54 pmUOducksTK1 wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 10:24 amAlthough reffing quality may have been poor, it didn't seem overly one-sided to me.buckmarkduck wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 2:54 amNebraska will win. They missed a clear targeting on CU DB hitting a wr in the head. They missed Sanders tackling the wr into the bench and they missed Travis clearly pushing off multiple times. But the broadcast team only focused on the positive of CU, and never pointed out those clear missed calls. Which is why people will think it was called evenly.
Exactly. That was a game between a 4-8 team from last season and a FCS team. The 4-8 team won by 5 points, and it was called, "a thriller!!" Next week Colorado is in Nebraska, lots of storylines about their rivalry, but all that will be talked about is Prime.buckmarkduck wrote: Fri Aug 30, 2024 4:53 pm That hold wasn’t even a big hold. But the sanders jock sniffer announcers made a big deal about it. I see WR do that every game and not get called.
