It was great seeing Shelstad get his shot going against a very athletic and aggressive defensive team like Maryland. This was a much-needed win to avoid starting Big Ten play 1-3 and 0-3 at home before going on their first real Big Ten roadtrip. Oregon really has to have more halves like they played in the 2nd half to have a chance at winning or finishing in the top half the conference this year.
