Incredible comeback. I’m obviously one of the bigger optimists on the board, but when they feel behind double digits with Bittle in foul trouble and the size disadvantage on the road, I thought it was over. Overcame a lot of bad breaks down the stretch too with the Bittle miss and some shaky calls on out of bounds plays.

Awful awful coaching by Wisconsin in 2nd half and OT.

They went away from everything that gave 'em success in the first half. First half, they destroyed us b/c of:
-fantastic off-the-ball movement
-pick n' rolls
-feeding the bigs regularly

This should've been a blowout.

On the other hand, we played to our strengths in the 2nd half. Credit to the coaches.

Biggest win of the year.

We overcome all of the things that hindered us the last 6-7 games:
-smart offense with good movement
-team defense

Another 20-win season for Altman. Still in shock that Oregon somehow found a way to win it in Madison. That might have been their best defensive effort all season long. Having Bittle able to play the majority of the 2nd half without picking up another foul was huge, as was Barthelemy heating up. Evans deserves more minutes after the way he played on this road trip. Ducks have some real momentum now heading into the final 2 weeks of the season.

That was to me the best game of the season and the best this team has looked all season. With Evans figuring things out at the right team it really elevates this team’s potential, HUGE win! I just don’t want to see this team let up or lose any of that aggression they showed today.

What? I checked the score of this one early in the second half and they were down 15-20. I basically moved on with my day rather than watch another loss and now I see they won?!! That's amazing. Great road win for the tournament committee to admire.

If you look past the 1st half. The win is the best W of the season. Early when they were coming from behind and getting W's, the team bought in and thought that was cool. Hopefully now they'll see that playing with the intensity they did in the last 10 minutes and OT is even cooler. This time not only did Shelstad have a hero shot, but a solid game overall, Bittle was The Man and absolutely Evans>Angel. Angel's line: 19 mins. 0 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 1 turnover. Evans: 23 mins, 10 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block.

We've known that this team has all of the tools to make a run in the tourney, but it has just been a matter of putting it together.

Angel = super consistent but cannot match up against athletic/talented teams (like Wisconsin)
Evans = inconsistent but CAN match up atheltic teams

Angel has been crucial for us in a lot of our wins against mediocre competition, but when the tourney-time rolls around, I am hoping his minutes to fall off in favor of Evans (assuming Evans shows some consistency).

I fail to see Angel’s consistency, sure he probably has a more all around offensive game than Evans but he has had plenty of games where he was a non-factor on offense, and he’s pretty much been a non-factor on defense every game this season.

Also, Bamba has been a defensive powerhouse for us. He won the game for us by shutting down Tonje in OT.

Must have been a heck of a halftime speech. I had this game DVRd. I started fast forwarding after that 14-0 run in the first half. Horrible first half rebounding, most times nobody in green near the ball. Then they go manic in the second half and just shut Wisconsin down. Something had to have been said. Has Altman flipped the witch with these guys?
