Those kids are fantastic, but you have to be smart about the resources you're putting into them. Chris Peterson had a mantra of "we're going to recruit 3* like they're 5*." They found talent that was on par with 5* but weren't getting a lot of attention, recruited the hell out of them, then when other teams came knocking late in the process it was too late. At some positions, it feels like Oregon is doing the opposite, and is going after Cantwell and Jared Curtis and then scrambles to fill spots with true projects (Trent Ferguson, Bryce Boulton) late. I like that they're recruiting Jax Tanner hard, it shows that they're making sure that even if they don't hit a home run they at least hit a double.
OK that makes sense, do you think it’s a Terry/coaching issue or in this era is it harder to identity those 2/3 stars with those measurables?

Kelvin Obot just committed to Utah so Oregon really has to land Iheanacho now. Tofi could play tackle if needed but he's a better IOL prospect long-term. Oregon likely needs 2 this class so they've got to find another tackle recruit in a thoroughly picked through class at this point.

Dang, big miss by Terry, that’s a bummer.

I need to watch his film again, but I seem to recall being impressed by Tofi's athleticism and thought he could be a tackle.
Edit: Tofi and Iheanacho are really comparable. Both listed at around 6'7, 340, and on tape, they move really similarly. Iheanacho is more physically mature (I wonder if there's an age difference between the two) but I don't see a big difference in their ability to bend, move laterally, stay balanced, or block in space. I think after two years in a college weight room, they may end up being very similar players. Funny enough, if either moved to guard, I think Iheanacho would be the better option because he seems like he's got more punch, but that could be the physical maturity I mentioned. Lets hope we get both.

Is it weird that I'm happy to hear that?
There are plenty of dirtbag parents and kids who will piss some earnings away, but overall, I like that NIL will change the livelihoods of plenty of young athletes and their families.

He's committing at 9:30 AM today on the Pat McAfee Show. We may be getting some early July 4th fireworks.

HUGE! I love it! I ask for Iheanacho, is he a T or a G? I think 247 switched him from an OT to IOL.

He's all Tackle.
OL Talent priority is typically:
1 - LT
2 - C/RT (scheme)
3 - RT/C
4 - LG
5 - RG
