I thought I had replied to this earlier but watching his HUDL tape, the one thing that you can't really teach is the zip of the ball coming out of his hands. That in conjunction with more time to work on his footwork and base in front of other coaches has probably helped with the rise in his recruitment.

In a bit of a surprise, Oregon has offered 2026 QB and Boise State commit Bryson Beaver. Seems a bit odd to offer a QB like him instead of some other higher rated guys out West. He was one of two non-top 50 QBs who made the Elite 11 finals next week and has been hearing from Arizona, Ohio State, and few other P4 schools. He's also had coaching from Akili Smith so that might be how he got on their radar.

Hmm. If I had my druthers, they'd prioritize Luke Fahey. He's got Masoli/Gabriel measurables but has a strong arm and, like those two, is a gamer.

Just funny how the narrative I guess has changed on the guy.
