From personal experience, can confirm ass bruises are super painful the first few weeks. Wont even be able to sit or walk much. But recovery picks up exponentially by week 3-4. By six weeks i was back to doing regular sports, and this was without the aid of state of the art facilities and top sports medicine/rehab specialists.GrantDuck wrote: Mon Sep 15, 2025 11:31 pm Hip Pointers are usually 1-3 weeks. Tailbones are about 4 weeks FWIW.
Let's just hope for the highly technical "ass bruise".

Hated to leave the PAC12, but one nice thing about it is that we don't have to argue about coming up with a woke nickname for the OSU game anymore. We get along fine without a woke rivalry nickname for Portland State and assume the same would be true for OSU.

I think I saw someone post a newer response from JHop yesterday that said DK may try going on Saturday but they'll likely hold him out so he's healthier against Penn State.OregonFan4Life wrote: Wed Sep 17, 2025 7:57 am There’s been complete silence on the rumored Dakorien injury since the rumor initially came out, anyone know any updates?

How incredible would it be if colleges did availability reports the way the NFL did them and if our staff decided to have a little fun with it?
Dakorien Moore - Wr - Ass - QUESTIONABLE
Being serious for one second. I’m going through a stressful time in my life and the way this thread has literally been “cheeky” about Dakorien’s cheeks has brought some much needed levity.
To be real, if any of y’all are familiar with anatomy, training, or PT, the glutes are the largest muscle group on our bodies. They affect posture/back, hamstrings which in turn can effect the quads, and entire kinetic chain is pretty much built around the glutes and if they are dinged up, it is painful AF and other muscles start to compensate and you get all out of whack.
Now imagine having your body somewhat out of whack whilst being chased by a bunch of angry 18-24 yr old dudes that are 6’+, weight 210+ lbs, have 6% body fat and move 20-23 mph. No thanks.

Heard DK practiced today full go, not even a red jersey. Doesn't necessarily means he plays, but I would assume he would if he's fully practicing.

Same. Mine were only in the recruiting team, but it was a good time when I could say "Hey, this Justin Herbert kid is 6'6 and nearly dragged Sheldon to a win over Jesuit. You should give him a serious look." (I also said I didn't think Troy Dye would make a good safety which was... sort of right but thankfully I didn't have much sway).OregonFan4Life wrote: Wed Sep 17, 2025 2:37 pmAwesome to hear! Were you the one posting how good Herbert was when everyone was sleeping on him cause he was a 3 star?StevensTechU wrote: Wed Sep 17, 2025 3:58 pmSame. I had two indirect sources, someone on the coaching staff for a while, and my cousin dated the equipment manager back in the day. It’s how I was able to find out things like Masoli being arrested and kicked off the team before it was public knowledge, Chip being contacted by Tampa Bay (even though he ended up staying for another year), John Boyette’s injury, and a few others. Though the last intel I got was about Chip Kelly returning, which did not make me look good.
