He got so happy after the Ok State game when I said he's still got the best stiff arm on any Duck RB, lol.

My choice is that Demetrius Williams would start for any Oregon roster.

Besides the many vicious stiff arms of various OSU Beavers (and Cowboys) let’s not forget Jeremiah Johnson also lived alone in the Rocky Mountains for years…whilst single-handedly fighting off an entire nation of Crow Ind (realizes Pez will eventually be reading this)…IGENOUS warriors.

That man could do it all.

His stiff arm against Fresno will forever been engraved in my mind.

To this day when I hear the name Jeremiah Johnson the first thing that comes to mind is “noooo! Get him! Get him! Nooooooooo!”

I think in general our WRs don't get enough shine because of how great of QB/RB's that we've had. A couple of these have been mentioned but all 3 are underrated:

Josh Huff
Jeff Maehl
Demetrius Williams

Wasn’t Williams the athletic freak who couldn’t catch a football if you were using Velcro gloves and ball?

I believe you are thinking of Jaison Williams, although I was a Williams fan. I recall people consistently ragging him about drops, but feel like he caught too much flack.

Yes, I think it was Jaison who was tremendously gifted physically (including being about 6'5" I think), but had somewhat inconsistent hands.

That WR room was larger than the entire LB room player to player even if you took Jaison out of it.

Not just his nickname, other guys on the team and a couple coaches called him that.

One guy that I hoped isn’t overlooked from this season is Malik Benson. With the injuries we’ve had he has stepped it up big time and literally saved our playoff hopes.

I swear I didn't go looking to pick on you in particular for your take on this. I was just interested in looking at that transfer portal thread in general, as I recalled the reaction to Benson coming being tepid at best, and it's funny how big of a pickup it ended up being. It did happen to be a funny coincidence seeing the contrast between your initial take to this post though: viewtopic.php?t=42258&hilit=transfer+portal&start=150

Yeah I wasn’t a fan of that addition and clearly I was wrong with many other duck fans. But clearly he was an amazing addition.
