Indiana's defense has played really well so far. They might have a real shot at a natty. Or Ohio St could still turn it on and win by like 30. Still hard to say if they're actually competitive.

Indiana is the best coached team in the nation.

Indiana is down 3-10 but I could see them winning this in the end by two scores. They looked like they needed a bit of an adjustment to start the game but they're really good. I'd be more confident that would happen if they didn't lose a wide receiver to injury already.

Maybe I’m overly biased but if Oregon gets healthy and doesn’t sabotage their own drives with silly mistakes or weird playcalling, I don’t see any reason that Oregon couldn’t beat either of these teams.

I think Oregon is capable of beating either team. I also think either team has and defensive front seven capable of dominating our offensive line.

Cooper being out is a big blow to Indiana. Much easier task being able to focus on Serratt. Indiana doesn’t have the depth to withstand injuries to their key players.

Depends on which OLine shows up. The OLine that showed up against Iowa wouldn’t get dominated by either front seven IMO. Our OLine was fine against Indiana, Dante created 4 of the 6 sacks in that game.

Time for a controversial post!!!

I’m so jealous of Indiana’s offensive playcalling. IMO when you coach 18-22 year olds you can’t try to teach too much, but you should create a system that isn’t too complex and perfect it. Indiana has perfected the RPO and these backshoulder throws. You know it’s coming, but you can’t stop it. Meanwhile at Oregon we have these crazy playcalls that keep getting sabotaged by mistakes. I’ll always argue that an OC that creates an efficient system is better than one that is constantly switching formations/packages and trying to call gadget/complex plays, cause 18-22 year old kids will make a lot of mistakes.

I’m not sure I follow, are you saying the Oregon OLine dominated not so good front sevens or they are particularly good against a certain style of defense?

I think we've played great against terrible front 7s (Oklahoma State), well against bad ones (USC), adequately against good ones (Penn State and washington), and lackluster against elite ones (Indiana). I'm saying I would consider Oregon's offensive line to be around the 10th best in the country. Very good unit but could have a tough time against an elite defensive front.

I'm not trying to be, nor think any of that is, controversial. Just summarizing what we've all watched this year. Because there's variability in performance, we're capable of playing great and also capable of not so great on any given day, so I'll be hoping that the whole team rises to the occasion.

tOSU just isn’t good enough offensively (QB) to be a truly scary team. They could dominate you for 3 quarters and only be up 10 points.

Just look at how hard it is for them to get 3 points to tie this game up.

Indiana somehow just dominates the psychological aspect of football.
