Why is Dunigan not getting the ball? By the way, nice game once again from Porter!!!!! Can we just forfeit the rest of the season?

It's one thing to lose games, but it's unacceptable to not be competitive on a regular basis. Gofightingducks is looking pretty good with his prediction.

Maybe thats because they've spent the least time with Kent as their coach.
Exactly!

It's hard to live here in Kansas..listening to all these KU and KSU fans talk trash, and my only comeback is "OH YEAH? ...well the Ducks, we,....we, .....screw it U win"! All I can do is wait till football season again, so I can stick it to'em!

a statistic I wish I could really see would be level of talent brought in and the wins produced. My guess it is one of the lowest in the country. The inputs are there, the "brains" on the bench can't put it together to produce output. I've never watched a more incoherent bunch. I have seen more of an offense at pick up games.

End this NOW!

But I'm also questioning if the talent was also possibly overrated. Don't get me wrong, I think Kent has done a poor job with this team, but could it be that the recruits he got just weren't as talented as we thought they were?

that is something I have debated earlier. I think it is a mix. Programs have hits and misses. But for this program to have so many misses it would seem to point to a trend.

I don't know if it is a trump card. But exhibit Drew Viney...
at LMU
16 ppg 7 rpg and 44% from three.

Yes I am expecting the counter argument that it is the WCC and it is lower competition than the Pac-10. But it is still a level of competition that Oregon has struggled against (see St. Marys, Portland). actually I am expecting an extreme amount of counter arguments.

But I think another thing that is probably helping Viney is that he's a couple years older now and probably has developed physically to handle the rigors of college basketball. At Oregon he came in pretty scrawny and seemed to get pushed around quite a bit when he went in for rebounds and played D.

True... I know its a poor argument.

I am just so frustrated with this team. I want to get excited about basketball. I just cannot anymore. I am finding it really hard to find any wins in the remaining games. I have given up for the season until the possibility of Dunlap taking the reigns for the remainder.

I think Dunlap would be a good coach since I think he could instill in this team a good defensive mindset. I know most of his coaching wins came at Div.II level, but I think that could his defensive mindset could fit in well with the Pac-10.

The new arena looks like it will be amazing. Let's not waste the grand opening.

Can someone tell me why Dunigan only played 14 minutes? Wilson? Humphrey? I'm surprised players haven't transfered.

Because Kent doesn't know what he's doing.. We are 8-1 when Dunigan scores over 10 points hmmmmmmmmm. We are 3-0 when he takes more than 10 shots.Wish I could say the same about Porter... He's 4-4 when he shoots over 10 times.

I'm a stats guy, but I also found this interesting..

When Armstead has 5 or more assists, we are 6-0.. And when he was getting those assists, where do you think a good chunk of those went? *cough* Dunigan.

When Porter turns it over 4 or more times, we are 1-4 (only win over UC Davis).

The sad part is that there is no adjustment in our game.. We suck, so why not feed the ball 20 times a game to Dunigan? Sure he'll turn it over 3-4 times, but he has the highest FG% IN THE PAC 10, so he's likely to get a good shot off or get fouled. And when I say get the ball to him, I mean on the freaking block. Not 10-15 feet from the basket..

Can I coach? Please?
