I also think Kelly and the other coaches need to become Christians if they are not already and play the religion card when recruiting  That is what got McNeal and it seemed to be a decider with Boyd as well. ;)

Now we're going to get stuck signing more JC castoffs that will eventually get booted or fail in the classroom.

Awesome

Masoli, Blount, Scott, Tukuafu, etc., JC transfers. I hope we get a dozen more if they play like these guys...

I tend to agreen with greenyellow about the issue that until the Ducks make a return to the BCS bowl game and win, recruiting will tend to be more of a heartache on these eastern kids. We are making inroads, but it's a slow process

I agree that it is a slow process. The fact that these kind of kids are intrested in us all the way down to the final two says a lot about how far we have come. Being consistant the next three or four years will go along ways for us being able to close some of these east coast kids. I really wanted Boyd because I thought it would allow us to have a better shot at Brown but I don't think Brown is going to come this way because of the slime ball that is his advisor. We will land some of these kids the next few years. I think 2010 will be our biggest class ever when it is said and done. I think we have a legit shot at the Pac 10 next year and possibly more if things fall into place. We have more kids from the east coast looking our way than ever before. As this starts to shift we will all look back at this and laugh. Go Ducks!!

The Ducks didn't recruit Masoli he recruited the Ducks. He sent the coaches tape and obviously MB and CK liked what they saw and then offered him a schollie.

Unwritten rules to this board, that I just recently learned:

1. You better be optimistic, or else...
2. Don't complain about anything
3. Don't criticize the recruiting effort, or question the coaching staff
4. Never say "I told you so" about missing out on a recruit
5. Don't start a topic/thread that breaks the first 4 rules, or else you will get 60 replies about what a moron you are and how you shouldn't post here anymore.

I agree, and you're right. Positive or negative, people should be able to share their feelings without constantly being criticized.

I just don't think that posters want a person to only be negative. You can be negative but don't completely bash the whole team or the coaches every chance you get; only do it when you see a big mistake. Saying "I told you so" is kind of childish and makes you look like an a**. I think that most people on this board think alike but a few dissenting comments are needed since this place would become boring if everybody was saying the same thing.
