[quote="division1watcher"]Honest Question its the last week of recruiting and the entire focus has switched to 2010 why is UO recruiting so different than other top BCS schools? I have usually only seen this out of tier 2 schools..."

It's not different.... Every school already has a 2010 board going and in place. Schools like Texas, USC and Florida, in the fertile recruiting areas, will have 2010 junior days within the next few weeks & will get early comm.its from it, game on. Everyone has moved on to 2010.

Oklahoma already had there Junior day actually so I'm not sure what Division1watcher is talking about...It seems he changes from day to day...one day he seems like an informed poster and good contributor to the board and the next it feels like all he wants to do is try and bash Oregon and make them sound second rate...Like saying I only see tier 2 teams doing that

I agree, the 2009 recruiting class is all but over. I'm holding a slim glimmer of hope that we land Gaines and Brown, but again, that's a small chance.

If Oregon makes a run at the BCS next year, we'll see another huge recruiting class in 2010, maybe even better than the one we got in 2008. IMO, the 2008 class was across the board, the most talent-laden class I've ever seen at Oregon.
