Well he was 9 away from breaking the record before today's game, he had 2 today. So now he's 7 away from breaking it.

It'll be close. He has at a minimum 2 games left..

Not a surprise about Porter. He only takes what, about 10 3's per game? I love how Ernie defended him and bad mouthed the fans because Porter had 1 good game. He was back to his horrible shooting tonight. Pondexter will probably be a top pick in the NBA draft.

Sarcasm? It's hard to tell sometimes, but Pondexter will be a mid-late first rounder at best IMO. He's already 22, and honestly, his past 3 seasons were mediocre. He's having a great senior season sure, but against horrible competition. There are no big men to contest him.

Pondexter is having a great senior year, but right now he projected to be an early 2nd round pick. With some great workouts, there's a chance that he could sneak in as a late first round pick.

Yeah, when I said top pick, I meant somewhere in the first round. Who knows though. Anyway, Pondexter had a great game. If only the ducks had someone like him. On the bright side, Dunigan played well tonight. We need this type of performance from him every game next season.

Who knows if Dunigan will even be back next year. After Ernie is fired, I wouldn't be surprised if a few players leave the program.

Losing guys like Dunigan, Jamil Wilson, and Matt Humphrey would hurt, but it's time that university go in another direction.

I agree. I don't want to lose those players, but it's time to start fresh. If that means players want to transfer, so be it. I'm actually surprised some of these guys came to Oregon in the first place. Talk about having a coach that has to hurt your confidence. Guys like Teondre Williams and Jamil Wilson aren't even getting minutes anymore. So sad!!!!!

Teondre Williams could become a very good player if he can get his academic issues in order and get consistent playing time. Williams is a freak of an athlete and his jumpshot has improved this season. With some good coaching, this kid could put up some pretty big numbers.

One player I could possibly see transferring is Drew Wiley. I can't remember the last time he was in a game and contributed anything. The same could be said about Crittle since he's been pretty non-existent also. These are 2 players who probably should have been redshirted last year, with another being Williams since he barely played due to academics and injuries.

We would see more defections if EK were to stay then if he were fired. And he will be fired. You can count on that.

For sure. When's the last time there wasn't a transfer in the off season? Players are constantly bailing under Kent & the way things are going I would expect quite a few guys to leave if Kent stays. Guys like Crittle & Teondre who, despite showing they have a ton of ability, never get any type of playing time. You can't expect guys who go 3-4 games without even seeing the court to come in & tear it up when you randomly sub them in. There some talented players on this team that haven't even been given a shot & they're gonna be gone if Kent isn't.

I don't know where these transfer concerns started. In theory, it's possible, sure. But if Oregon brings in a respected, fairly prominent coach, everybody starts fresh. It's tough to see lot of these guys putting in the time and effort the past two years only to bail once they become upperclassmen. Major conference teams swap coaches all the time without having an exodus of player transfers.

I would think in 9 cases out of 10, the new coach and player would have to come to an amicable agreement to part ways, a la Kent and Kamyron Brown last offseason. I think the cases of players transferring out just because they have an obsessive devotion to the old regime is pretty rare.

Doesn't hurt that we have that new arena opening up next year.

Here is my opinion. This is just my opinion based on my observations and what I have heard and seen during the season:
1) Dunigan is gone regardless of if Kent stays or goes. He is very unhappy in Eugene and is not shy about expressing his unhappiness. In fact, he has gone as far as to bash Eugene on his facebook page several times recently. Plus Dunigan has to be thinking that he would be better off at a school that would utilize his skills properly and could benefit greatly from an extra year of college via redshirting.
2) Humphrey was voicing his frustration at the beginning of the season, but managed to battle back and actually contribute down the stretch. The talk about his unhappiness with the program has died down recently. This seems to be more of a situational issue from what I have heard. I think that if Kent resigns or is fired, then Humphrey will likely stay. If Kent is retained, then I would not be surprised to see Humphrey split with Dunigan.
3) If EK stays, Crittle is gone. He has barely seen the court since he got in EK's face on the sidelines several weeks ago during a game. Once you are in EK's doghouse, it is over for you.
4) Jamil Wilson is an EK guy. In fact, he went as far as to say that he was not coming to Oregon unless EK was the coach during his recruiting process. At this point, you would have to assume that there is a good chance of Jamil leaving if EK is fired.
5) Armstead and Jacob have pretty much locked down starting positions next season with their play this year. I think they stay regardless of what happens with the coaching position.
6) Longmire is going into his senior year. Does he even have a choice? He already used his redshirt. He will be back.
7) Williams and EJ will be major contributers next season, plus EJ is a Oregon guy. They probably both stay, unless Williams has grade issues.
8) Not really sure what to think about Wiley and Sim. If they do tranfer, where would they go? DIV II? It is hard to imagine they would get significant playing time at another DIV I school. I think they both are back, especially if we have a new coach. New coach = new opportunity.
