I for one, DO NOT WANT MARK FEW AS THE NEXT OREGON COACH!!!! He is an overrated coach who has not gotten that deep in the tourney. Say what you want about him. I dont think he will be successful in a competitive Pac-10 conference.

DUDE my thoughts exactly!! How hard is it to win a lot of conference games when you only play one or two "hard" teams per year?? I say we go for the home run and get Tom Izzo in here!!

No...No..No...

I watch a lot of ACC B-ball, and Hewitt is not a good coach. Recruiter, yes, but coach no

We already had that

I would take Few, but my interest has cooled with him as well. Maybe it's because I hear Turgeon, Dixon and other big names mentioned. I'm just not sure how winning in a fairly weak conference would translate over to the pac-10. I also read somewhere that his personality might not be a good fit at Oregon.

I have heard from a source I respect that Izzo is very much a candidate. The connection is Nike. They have been heavily involved with the ongoing redesign of the Spartan logo and close to the coach. Money talks, although it is barely a whisper in cash-strapped Michigan and is a roar at UO.

I dont care what you say about Nike and the new arena...

I don't see Oregon paying 4-5 million for a basketball coach.

Unless we are waiting for Bennett and Izzo, we'll probably be getting a coach sooner than later now with Few, Tugeon, Pitino, and Dixon out of the Tourney.

Mark Turgeon is available now, and I'd be willing to bet someone is in Spokane talking to him. He's at the top of my list, by far.
