Jordan still shows on the roster as a WR. I'll be interested to see how this evolves.

The diving catch in the end zone against UCLA and the 60 yard after the catch against ASU where he split two defenders still give me a lot of hope for this kid. He will be the x factor for sure. I guy like Embry could come in and be an every down type of player. Anyway, there is a lot to look forward to...
I think we will see Dickson in the slot a lot next year. With NaDerris Ward on the line. I can see Dickson having a huge year next season!duc_15 wrote:From the sounds of it Jordan was recruited at WR much like Harper was recruited as a QB. He was given his chance now he is 6'7 and 240 so he fits in at TE better. This also means we will prolly see Dickson spread out at WR a lot more.
He needs to be given the open field so we can utilize his true athleticism at it's best. I think he should stay at WR, but I trust the coaches will do what they think is best for not only the team, but Chris as well. I would love to see DT throw the ball to CH. That will be amazing!duckgrad99 wrote:BisonDucks wrote:I am interested in seeing the evolution of Chris Harper the most. I agree on Harper, yet a lot of people here want him moved to running back. I think we are set at running back this next season, so why move him? Our running back situation never seems to be a problem. The receiver position has been a different story.
As far as size goes... make that argument to JWill! Why change the guy to TE, we don't use them enough and its a waste of talent at that position!duc_15 wrote:From the sounds of it Jordan was recruited at WR much like Harper was recruited as a QB. This is true. They don't even need to be playmakers to thrive. They just need to be able to block and CATCH THE BALL! I sincerely hope we improve in that category next year.alabamaduck wrote:We've got so many playmakers on offense that I'm really not that worried. I'm sure the coaches have a plan...maybe it's Dickson in the slot or out wide, maybe it's Harper at RB or in the slot, BOLO at WR, who knows. There's enough talent that offense won't be an issue as lone as the o-line does what we expect it will.

What happens if Jackson and Gaines do not commit. I know we keep getting told that Jackson will. If memory serves me correctly all the experts were saying Boyd would sign with us and we all know what happened. Jackson has been quiet and Gaines isnt commenting until LOI day. I would love to say have faith in both of them signing but honestly given the merry-goround this year with recruits I am not buying much of anything unless comes directly from the recruit. It is nothing but speculation and been lot of misses so far. I think as Duck fans we need to be prepared for the scenario that neither of them sign. Will everyone still believe this is a good class if neither of them sign. As far as Bryce Brown goes I am like 99% sure he will sign with Miami whenever that day comes. Families are invoking their wises on their kids and forgetting what the kids want to do a la Boyd. Do not get me wrong I understand how important family is but when I went to college my folks left it up to me and supported me fully when i left the roost. Of course they missed me and wanted me close to home but they knew I was growing up and I needed my independence and they still loved me.
