He reminds me a little of Carl Laundry
It's rare to find high school kids who have an actual back to the basket post up game.
You can tell that he has a good coach
2 years 15-20lbs from now I wouldn't be surprised if he will be rated a 5 star

he didn't look athletic at all in that video...but considering what I saw and what scouts saw, I am thinking its just a poor highlight film.....you can only show so much on a highlight film, those all look like good basketball plays, nothing stands out as spectacular.....which isn't amazing, but if he is like that all the time, then he would be a good prospect even if highlight films don't show it since they can't show every single play, and consistency

I agree. He did not look athletic in that video. However, I do remember watching his dad play for the Ducks. I don't care who the other team had on the front line, If Richard Lucas was in there, the Ducks had a decent chance to get the board. The Ducks didn't always have the best rebounders back then, but Richard Lucas was relentless. His kid has a better offensive touch than his dad. If he can mature and match his dads toughness and hops in the next couple years, he will be VERY tough. His dad was great at getting the rebound on the second jump in a scrum. Great player, always hustled.

Hopefully Altman can do well enough that he can entice the big-time recruits in Oregon to take serious looks at the Ducks.
