Re: WR Nick Cole
I don't think we place Hawkins at any position right now until we hear from the coaches about their intentions for him. I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up as a WR but I could see the coaches starting him at QB just to see if he can handle the offense at that position.woundedknees wrote:(I posted this on Hawkins thread.)

Re: WR Nick Cole
We're a little off Cole but if Costa isnn't game ready in the spring then DT has to move into the 2nd QB slot instead of a redshirt with Roper as the 3rd QB. in that case Hawkin would probably run the scout team his first year.

Thomas isn't near ready to be 2nd QB over Roper.ducksvb6 wrote:We're a little off Cole but if Costa isnn't game ready in the spring then DT has to move into the 2nd QB slot instead of a redshirt with Roper as the 3rd QB. in that case Hawkin would probably run the scout team his first year.

Re: WR Nick Cole
Who knows if Thomas is ready or not. He will have had a full year to figure things out and some off time to work on his skills. He could be the best quarterback next year for all we know. I still hope that he redshirts this year to get two full years out of him as the starter. I hope they bring Hawkin in a try him out all over the field.Oregonian wrote:Thomas isn't near ready to be 2nd QB over Roper.ducksvb6 wrote:We're a little off Cole but if Costa isnn't game ready in the spring then DT has to move into the 2nd QB slot instead of a redshirt with Roper as the 3rd QB. in that case Hawkin would probably run the scout team his first year.
