20-18 Ducks, fourth and final media TO. Jacob with a FT and Loyd drilled a jumper.

28-22 Cavs, half.

We failed to score the last three minutes of the game, and they started hitting threes, including one by Jontel Evans at the buzzer. We're 1/10 from deep, blah.

Really brutal end to the half. Sloppy play and horrible outside shooting. Garrett Sim is worthless. Why does this guy continue to get more playing time than Williams? Singler is definitely having an off game. Oregon is settling for too many outside shots, even though most of them have been good looks.

Armstead has really regressed this year. It doesn't look like his head is in it. He better wake up because I'd expect a lot of improvement from Loyd over the next year.

They just reviewed the shot. No good. That's a big break for Oregon because this game could come down to the last shot.

Good news on the last shot. Sim plays more than Teondre because Teondre has yet to figure out team defense, whereas Sim plays it adequately.

I don't know about that. Sim has average lateral quickness and has no idea how to switch on a screen. Teondre can sometimes play lazy defense - he'll reach with his hands, rather than play D with good footwork. Neither player is a game changer defensively, but at least Teondre can hit open J's. He's really improved as a shooter. He can also finish on the fast break.

I agree that Teondre's the superior offensive player. You're not the only one to get on Sim's overall game, but the answer is actually quite simple. He's a better defender. If he wasn't, there would literally be no reason to play him over Teondre.

32-24 Cavs. Precarious spot for Oregon, we've missed a couple easy point-blank looks and the Cavs are shooting enough in volume to build a little lead (neither team is shooting well from the floor).

Jeremy Jacob is giving Oregon a big boost. Oregon is going to be a much better team when Jacob is able to play 25+ minutes a game.

Looks like Loyd might be cramping up. Sim comes back in...

Armstead has been awful. Poor defensively, not grabbing rebounds, not finishing.

Big momentum swing with Loyd on the bench.

Jacob has missed 3 in a row (1 blocked) two that were really good shots, but just didn't fall.

Really surprised that Altman is taking advantage of Teondre's offensive ability. Also surprised that we haven't seen more of Nared.

38-31 Cavs, 11:55 left.

Lots of time left, blah blah blah. But consider me underwhelmed through the first 3/4 of this game, Virginia is down TWO starters, including their leading scorer and rebounder, and the Ducks just can't put anything together. Here's hoping something starts clicking down the stretch. This is bad basketball by both teams, we're just out-uglying them.

An Armstead 3 and some Teondre FTs cuts it to four... potentially good news re: Armstead, he's one streaky SOB.

Armstead hits a 3. Followed by great footwork by Malcolm on the defensive end.

Teondre is too quick for the Virginia guards. Gets fouled on a drive to the basket. He needs to be a bigger part of the offensive. He is pulled right after hitting two free throws...

Singler with an awful pass, leading to a fastbreak opportunity, but Singler takes a charge on the other end to redeem himself.

Loyd back in the game.

Catron with some great footwork. And 1.

Catron gets burned on the defensive end. Easy layup for Virginia.

Armstead with an awful 3 attempt - completely bricks it off the side of the backboard.

Armstead has been embarrassing in all facets of the game.

Virginia player hits a wild 28 footer. Catron with a really sloppy pass. Singler fouls to prevent a fastbreak layup. They hit both free throws.

This game is likely over. Pretty pathetic showing offensively.

Catron out, Jacob in.

Jacob with a nice 15 footer.
