Man, these brick-fests are just sad.

We're +9 in turnovers tonight and are shooting around 20%

That's like getting 3 offensive drives inside the opponents 20 in football and getting one field goal.

Almost every Oregon shooter has a hand in their face contesting their shot. Arizona on the other hand is getting wide open looks.

It's hard to get good shots when your being defended by bigger, longer, & faster players.

This was the first game I was able to watch this season. All I have to say is that at least we are playing the championship game in football and have baseball to look forward to. This is one team where we could have Mike Krzyzewski as the head coach and it wouldn't make a difference. We should be better next season though.

Exactly, so if he's not shooting good, then we have NO chance at winning.

I thought our defense looked alright for the most part. We did a good job shutting down and limiting touches for Derrick Williams.

In other news, OSU is beating ASU.

The next few months between the end of football and the beginning of baseball are going to be long and slow with the way this team plays. There are just no players who can hit consistently from outside the post area. I don't even know how much Altman can do to help them shoot better except for telling them to keep shooting and working on it in practice. At this point, it's either you can shoot or you can't.

Just got back from watching the game at the local pub, have to say the missed shots and
lack of much of an inside game was very hard to watch. God if we had ONE center recruit
on the way, I would be much more content. It is so easy for other teams to close down
on Caetron and we have other inside presence to draw fouls.

Do we even have any center prospects still on our visit schedule???

We obviously have some better shooters coming in.

Do you think attendance will rise this season in the new arena? I read that mac court was pretty empty tonight and the excitement level didn't look all that high. I know the students are on break, but in previous years it was hard to get a ticket to the game. I really hope Oregon can get back to their winning ways over the next few years and people can get excited about duck basketball again.

The one good thing about tonight WAS the attendance. The Pitt looked pretty full.

6'10"/235 3* PF/C Kevin Johnson was a possibility, but recent reports say he will reclassify from 2011 to 2012.

Other than that, F Deandre Daniels may be the only game in town.

Well if Altman doesn't pull a rabbit out of his hat before 2011 rolls around, we are toast.
It is obvious Jacobs has lost a step and cannot bang around inside.

It was a near sell out tonight. Excitement might have been low because we got a swift kick in the balls right from the opening tip-off.
