We've also got Clint Moseley as a backup, 6'-4'' 220+. I'm not sure if he saw any game time at all this year.

We'll just have to wait and see how it goes during the Spring practice game. Going into the 2010 season, we weren't sure who would be starting. I watched the practice game, and Cam really didn't impress and I wasn't sure what would be done with him. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought the season would have ended like it did-I was too busy looking forward to 2012.

I'd actually love to see Jake Locker surrounded by Auburn's talent. In the leadup to the BCS game, I maintained that Newton was no different than a slightly taller/bigger Jake Locker. The fact we've schemed for so long to stop Locker (and been successful) gave me great confidence in our ability to slow down Cam.

Not saying that one is clearly better than the other. Obviously, Cam has the better stats. He also has the talent around him, too, which is something Locker has rarely had.

Not surprised by this news (like everyone else) but Auburn recruits well and will bounce back but like Icculus said it may take a season and a few more losses to get back on top!

Icculus that young QB you got coming in look great, maybe we will meet you in the NCG in 2012!
