Anyone tried paying jhop for scoopduck? Is it worth it for a little extra recruiting news Leading up to signing day?

Wouldn't be a year round member but for three months or something

Personally, I don’t pay for either site (247/Scout or JHop). I don’t see the point in getting a snippet of info a day or two before. Anything big and concrete will be all over the Twitter-verse or easily accessible. Sometimes there are people who seem to have ins with the program, however, they’re sometimes wrong and you should always take it with a grain of salt. There are some names I’ve recognized on here (and Reddit) that I’ve seen on 247 so it’s not like this space is void of that info. That’s just me though.

^ I thought it was worth it 10 years ago, before youtube and Hudl were around because you had to pay to get the scouting videos of recruits to actually see them. Now, with twitter and multiple sites and what not you get info within a few hours, if not minutes via free resources. If you like hearing rumors beforehand then it's worth it but I'm patient enough that I don't feel it's worth it.

Anyone know how many of these guys will be signing during the early period vs. the later period and how that's all going to work?

It sounds like they're going to try to get as many people as possible to sign early so they don't have to worry about them flipping on NSD. That way they can concentrate on the remaining spots in the class.

I like Scoopduck and recommend it if you like talking football. As much insider information as you get, I think the best part is just shooting the breeze about all things Ducks and that site gets the most activity. One strange thing about this year though is a lot of our recruiting is already done. We know who most of the class is. Maybe after the season there'll be changes in the coaching staff, and that always gets interesting.

Thompson not signing early may be why they're still recruiting so many WRs.

There are a lot who will be signing early. I know Shough is but I’m not sure about other players.

Should we just start a new list from scratch?
