Seeing VA say that to Lockie before the game makes me question the decision to start him.

Pellum is clearly put of his league. He's clueless.

At the same time, we don't have the talent or experience we've had at some positions that we've had for several years.

Tons of talent. But this is not the Oregon team we've grown accustomed to.

Shoot, I stepped away for 2 minutes and missed it. What did he say?

Lots of talent on Offense....if only we had someone to get them the ball. Our hopes fall to Locke...unless there is a rule where we can get VA a chair to stand on so he can see.

So this amazing group of D recruits are either saying, no way, I'm outta here, or I can start right away, like in the 2nd half tonight.

This is, hands down, the worst defense I've ever seen from Oregon.

Way too early. But talent is defintely there. If the Ducks go 2-0 vs FBS teams and 0-2 vs FCS teams, there will be a problem. With all of the D recruits in for this game, this won't help if they lose. But having two losses this early in the season is for sure regression. All coaches will feel the heat.

We have more talent on defense than we've ever had. The problem is that it hasn't been developed and is being under utilized in a terrible defensive scheme.

Helfrich needs to be smart here, fire the DC and stay at UO, or keep him and be gone in two or three years. The big money donors won't put up with UO being a 7 win team.
