Btw, what was Lanning doing with those timeouts? Literally helped Nebraska score.

Was hoping to get the ball back and run the 2 min drill with Thomas I guess.

No way this offense is going to drive near the length of the field to score in the two minute drill right now.

0-0 at half was a gift and a win. A HC who can't see that and correctly call the game is struggling and making things worse. Its a bit of an insult to the "D" to not let them go in 0-0.

Great/good coaches lose coordinators all of the time, nature of being a good team. Lanning has to make good coordinator(s) hires this summer. He effed up so bad this year, but he can make amends. Let’s hope they are experienced, can freaking game plan (Ducks worst deficiency), so they are at least looking prepared. The last few games, they just looked like deer in the headlights, no idea of what was coming, offensively in particular. I’m sure Mehringer won’t be the OC next year, but will Lanning make the correct choice? Not sure.

Lanning is actually a fool. This is foolishness.

Raiola beat a good USC team on the road 3 weeks ago… Keeping Thomas in is a joke, Dan isn’t trying to win.

At this point, if he just wants to help young men with his bros he should take his millions and go start a non-profit.

I truly don’t understand leaving Thomas in. Makes me wonder if there’s more going on with Raiola than we know. I don’t think Akili is very good, but I’d even be willing to give him a shot at this point. They don’t stand a chance with Brock.

I think it’s cuz he knows he won’t get fired this year so he is okay being stubborn.

Lanning looks shattered and lost on the sideline. The amount of money being put into the football program with NIL and new indoor facility - heads need to roll. Thomas playing QB right now is unacceptable.
