Dallas yes, but I highly doubt Portland would have much of a shot against a healthy San Antonio team in a 7 game series in the playoffs. Don't ever take regular season games into consideration when contemplating about how well your team will do against SA in the playoffs. In the 2006-2007 season the Cavs swept the Spurs in the regular season, and the Spurs swept the Cavs in the Finals. The Blazers are still young while the Spurs are much more playoff tested. With Duncan, Parker, Leonard, and Pop, I just can't see a team as young as the Blazers beating the Spurs. However I could see Portland putting up a good fight like Golden State did last season against the Spurs, but in the end, it won't be enough to take SA out of the playoffs.

the spurs are always kind of a mystery going into the playoffs. all that you said is true, but let's not forget all the times san antonio has flopped in the first or second round. they broke through last year, but i think it was only the season prior that memphis was actively flopping down the stretch to position themselves for the #8 seed, in hopes of getting the spurs in the first round. they did, and the grizz won. rather handily.

That was two seasons prior. Last year was the game 6 disaster against Miami, two years ago was the backdoor sweep they suffered from OKC in the WCF. The year before that was the Memphis series but in that series Ginobili missed the first game with an elbow injury and played with one arm, and Duncan was still nowhere close to being 100% healthy as he suffered a bad ankle sprain right before that series. Also since then Parker has really improved his game and the Spurs got Kawhi Leonard.

Curry is a beast.

Losing to the grizz at home hurt.

Went to the Raptors game, Blazers played good until the last 10 minutes. Derozan went crazy near the end.

Nice to see Batum step it up against the Knicks when everyone else was struggling a little bit on offense. On to Indiana! Should be a good one.

I pretty much stopped watching the NBA in the late 90's. Why? Because the officials are so biased it ruins the game. Just like tonight. Everytime Indiana makes a run, the whistles start blowing enough to allow the Pacers to catch back up.

Just look at the first call in OT. He hits the ball out of the Portland players hand and it goes out of bounds and they give it to Indiana? I see nothing has changed in the NBA.

ROFL, exactly what I'm talking about. EVERY SINGLE CALL..........They walk up to the monitor, watch the replay, "Indiana ball. Indiana ball. Indiana ball". They basically gave Indiana the game. I'll stop watching for another decade. The NBA sucks. I mean seriously. Its so paid off.

officiating wasn't the problem. portland, for some reason, forgot that david west is automatic with the 18 ft jumper. always has been. i thought the game was lost when lamarcus threw it to west underneath the basket, myself.

Yeah no one was guarding West on the pick and roll.

And terrible finish to the game, Blazers let another one go..

Although the cheap calls against LA that took him out of the game in the 2nd half were pretty weak and hurt Portland pretty bad, but they had the chance to win the game in OT and gave it away. If they rebound the basketball defensively and don't hand the ball to them twice in OT underneath there own basket, they win the game.

on the plus side wes matthews looked like jordan and/or kobe there in the final three minutes of regulation to even force OT. that was an unreal string of possessions for him.

We should be glad Aldridge is on our team since we left West open on the pick and pop every time. LMA would score 50 against that defense.

Also I hope Paul George always plays with the effort he did last night. He forced a steal off an easy rebound for us and forced LMA to throw it straight to David West for the game sealing dunk.

Struggled a little against a Love-less Twolves team.

Gotta beat the Thunder next game. We've been losing too many close games lately, time to bring it against OKC.
