Butch Davis has really made a difference at UNC...

The Heels are going to be in a NC Hunt within about a year...

Then Davis will try and go back to the NFL and everything will fall apart

I was not impressed with McNeal and the AA game scouts weren't overly thrilled either, but my semi-sarcastic post was aimed at Boyd's decision for Clemson and the mediocre tools that will surround him on offense in "the SEC school in the ACC"

Off topic but a few random notes...
Myles Wade was reevaluated as a 3* by scout.
Besides Kasa CU's class really fell flat. Some solid players, no disrespect, but I thought they would have done better.

Exactly why he chose clemsen,he wants to be a big fish in a little pond,here he would be an average fish in a big pond!!

Which SEC school? Arkansas?

I'm surprised at what North Carolina is doing as well. In 2007, they were 4-8.

utah coach whittingham just interviwed on espnu, about BCS bowls.. in the Pac10 USC the only team to play in a BCS game... ohh really..

The think with UNC is that NC has a lot of good athletes

Davis came in and secured the state as well as some talent from around the area (Washington, Virginia)

many of the guys that made the difference last year were young and were actually Davis's guys

I guess a person is forced to go along with the concept that Chip Kelly knows best. However, I don't quite understand why Chip thought McNeal would be a good fit in this offense which requires receivers to be good at blocking as well as receiving. McNeal isn't a very physical receiver, to say the least. Losing out on McNeal may have been a blessing in disguise in the long run.
