J Hop made his Tuesday predictions. Anyone get a chance to see what his thoughts are on “the Big 3?” Manning, Flowe, Ringo

I think we might have a spot or 2 remaining for February, too. I think we go after a TE.

Flowe - Duck (lots of good sources but with caveat of some USC traction gained this weekend)
Ringo - 50/50

He picked all 3 to Oregon but is least confident about Ringo

He's saying that we could end up with all three. He seems confident about Manning and Flowe. He's saying Ringo is a possibility too.TyranT wrote:J Hop made his Tuesday predictions. Anyone get a chance to see what his thoughts are on “the Big 3?” Manning, Flowe, Ringo
As for prediction Tuesday, he predicted Eljah Badger to ASU and Robby Ashford to Oregon.

I'm cool with leaving a few spots open altogether and just adding in some proven grad transfers.Phenom wrote:I think we might have a spot or 2 remaining for February, too. I think we go after a TE.

I think he had Oregon finishing with 25 5 star players

People hate on him because he's a bit of a homer (he is) but he is very plugged in. The most out of any other "insider". He's had CMC on his podcast multiple times.brich75 wrote:Forgive my ignorance, how reliable or in tune is J hop?
I do see him as part of the PR department for the program, though.

Depends... The Hopper has been known to be off-key on occasion.
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

Shoot if he is accurate and plugged in he can be a homer all day! I do t care if he is on Jerry Allen’s homer level if he is accurate.Phenom wrote:People hate on him because he's a bit of a homer (he is) but he is very plugged in. Side note: I love Jerry Allen and the way he calls Oregon games

2. At the end of the day he's a super fan just like us (started out on this site actually)
3. He is reasonable/honest in the realm of recruiting sites but there's always a semblance of 'hope' that comes on every site like that
The only guys that might be more plugged in would be: Greg Biggins and Steve Wiltfong.

On a scale of Nemec to Biggins, he’s a Wiltfong.

Also, even though Manning and Ringo are signing tomorrow, they won't publicly announce their intentions until January at the All-American games. I think we'll have a good idea where they're going, though.
