Diva is a fair word to describe him, entitled comes to mind also.

Wish kids weren’t so shortsighted, but it is what it is. Smart play would be to see how year 1 plays out. If Moore is who everyone hopes he will be, and lives up to the hype Tez is bestowing upon him, he could legitimately be gone after next year. Would leave the Ducks in a little bit of precarious spot, assuming Novosad leaves, though of course there’s always the portal if Moga and Smith aren’t ready.
Moore would be a good person to talk to about picking a spot purely based on ability to start year 1. Wish him the best of luck, even if I think it’s not a terribly wise decision.

Who ever is advising him should have helped him craft a better departure statement. He comes off as entitled and petulant.
Something along the lines of ‘I’m grateful to Oregon however after additional consideration I feel it best to enter the portal’. There’s a ton of ways to say it that would have come across far more mature.
And yes, if he did not know what the QB room looked like , then shame on him for not doing his homework.
I honestly don’t like to bag on these kids for changing their minds, it happens , but exhibit more maturity.
Gabriel played a big part in recruiting him.

USC starting guard Emmanuel Oregon, who transferred in from Wyoming and will be an NFL starter, just hit the portal. For all that is holy, I hope the Ducks go after him hard. Whether to validate this message or for pure entertainment, feel free to watch the USC bowl game with Texas A&M and watch him outright maul the Aggies defensive line.

For all the comments about Oregon and NIL, the reason we know the funds aren't anything close to unlimited is that we ended up with Isaiah World (highest honor received is Mountain West honorable mention) and Alex Harkey (highest honor received is Sun Belt 3rd team offense), rather than Virginia Tech's OT who is reportedly making in the $1.5M range at LSU or Wazzu's OT who remains on the market.

Difference is the Virginia Tech OL, Braelin Moore, is an interior OL, not an OT. Sounds like WSU's OT is likely going to Michigan.

We need tackles moreso than guards, right? I do agree about Pregnon, any offensive lineman that good is worth opening up the checkbook for.

That would be a nice get. I did not realize until now that he played at West Linn and Westview HS.

No way that’s legit, I want the coaches to stick with Moore.

I would think, at this point, if Lanning wasn’t comfortable with Moore after watching him for a full year, there would be more outside noise. This is probably BS, but I guess you never really know today.

I am skeptical myself. I don't think the kid is in the portal - can other schools make offers in that case? Also, I thought he showed a lot of heart vs. Texas, but he wasn't worth $5 million IMO. Lastly, that would be doing Dilly dirty - aren't he and Lanning pals?

"Richard Cheese" is not a real person. So no, that's not a real offer, but like any good social media post, they got some traction out of it.

We frankly need both.
