If the Blazers are looking for frontcourt help and to try and win right now, they couldn't do much better than Camby. He gives you 12 rebounds a game with 2 blocks a game. Since Oden and Pryzbilla went down, the Blazers have really been lacking this.

I have liked camby for the last two or three years, and with pryzbilla and oden out, I really like it now. I do like blake for his threes, but am not that big on outlaw (think he needs to rebound more). Could resign one or both of them in the offseason if blazers want to, like they dd with blake the first time he was here. Ya i hate vujacic sp?, I don't think he has ever committed a foul yet (at least he doesn't think he has). I don't know what the blazers seen in him. unless he has an expiring contract. but i thought i read he doesn't. Next game is tonight at seven vs clippers, kinda of funny with this camby rumor.

Well that should make it interesting.

This is stupid.. The only guy that would be worth going after is, Amari Stoudimire. There is no way we could get him so lets just keep who we have and not trade for another Dinosaur.
We dont need to mess with the team chemistry!

Since we are talking trades, I would like to trade Blake for Aaron Brooks.
1.I would love to see him back in Oregon.
2.I think he would help Portland out a ton, he gets to the rim as good if not better than Bayless with more control. He is a better shooter than Bayless and probably Blake.

2. You're crazy if you think Houston would trade Brooks, especially for Blake.

Camby is a good short-term fix for the Blazers. He's a good rebounder and shot-blocker, which helps fill Oden and Przybilla, and can get you 10 ppg. It also allows us to move Howard back to a primarily PF position and releases the backlog at SF.

No, I don't think Houston would give us Brooks for blake ever. It was just me dreaming. Really had more to do with me wanting Brooks than the actual trade.
I dont know if they would give up Brooks for Roy at this point.

No, I don't think Houston would give us Brooks for blake ever. It was just me dreaming. Really had more to do with me wanting Brooks than the actual trade.
I dont know if they would give up Brooks for Roy at this point.

They would at least consider it.

Outlaw hasn't been part of our team all year long. Not sure what chemistry he was involved in. And Blake isn't a key piece either, so losing him isn't bad. It's evident we'll get killed by the top half west teams without a true center. Camby will immediately fix that problem.

Ya, That was my knee jerk reaction. after I thought about it for a while I think this was a good move for this year. I wish we could some how have gotten Amari Stoudomire I know that is not really a possibility but he would make a huge difference on our team right now.

Definitely would have loved a bigger first, but honestly, I highly doubt the Suns would deal Amare to a west team. If we were able to pull that off, then Kevin Pritchard pretty much locked up the presidency for 2012.

Hope they can pull out the victory tonight. The state of Oregon can use something positive in Bball. Now that i think about it we can use something good in sports period!

Staudemire would have had some nice "big name appeal" but he isn't really what this team needs. We already have a power forward that doesn't like to play defense. Plus he is another guy that would demand minutes and shots. He would be only contribute to a huge problem that the team has had which is a lack of defined roles for everyone. I think Camby was a better pick up for what we need right now.
