Ironically, I might pick up a multi-game package this year because I expect prices to fall a fair amount, and I'm an easy bike ride or long walk from the Rose Garden. The starting lineup of Scoot (13ppg?), Simons (20ppg?), Sharpe (15ppg?), Grant (20ppg?) and Nurk (10ppg?) isn't the worst team, though it clearly lacks a closer and the bench is almost completely barren. Reminds me, though, of the Kings of a couple years ago. Hopefully they find a good use for the $45M they're freeing up without Dame. Isn’t that what the blazers have already been doing the last 2 years? How many years do they have to tank, before it pays dividends?
Same. I'm not expecting us to win a lot of games for two or three years but watching young guys develop is fun and much less stressful. I cut cable, and you really don’t save a ton of money honestly. Everyone wants to charge you for a subscription. Unless you get an unlocked fire stick or something like that.pezsez1 wrote:Same. That said, if the upcoming Pac-12 media deal features a way to stream all the Duck games, then I might finally cut cable. I'll go to some Blazer games and watch highlights but don't have much incentive to watch development for multiple nights a week. I only really use cable TV for the Ducks and Blazers.
