I'd be shocked if Dickey stuck around. A change of scenery could do him some good.

Anyway Benson is servicable and brings experience. I have a feeling he'll be our 4th or 5th receiver. I expect big things from Moore, and I bet another younger guy has big leaps this offseason.

It might be the best thing for him. I have heard he likes Oregon a lot and his brother is a walk on on the team but Jurrion has just not broken through.UOducksTK1 wrote:I'd be shocked if Dickey stuck around. A change of scenery could do him some good.
Honestly wondering if he needs to drop down a level. Don’t mean that in a disparaging way either.

Oregon is taking a strong look at USC IOL Emmanuel Pregnon. He might be the top interior lineman in the portal right now.

What are the chances of Moore being an instant impact player who opens things up for everyone else?If Evan Stewart comes back, you're looking at a starting lineup of Stewart, Lowe, and Benson, with McClellan, Kasper, and Moore coming off the bench.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

And I don't want him to leave, he seems like a neat person (and a fun personality). But agreed it might be in his best interest. If he stays though, I hope he has a breakout year.lmduck wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 10:53 amIt might be the best thing for him. Re: Ducks Transfer Portal - 2024-25
If we add Pregnon and Conerly stays, our QB group will be blessed. That is a nasty starting 5.
"Pregnon, a second team All-Big Ten selection, had been USC's best offensive linemen this season with 882 offensive snaps (most on the offensive line) across 13 starts and zero sacks allowed at left guard. Pregnon allowed 14 total quarterback pressures, which earned him a 73.3 pass blocking grade, per Pro Football Focus, the highest mark on the team." (source: 247)

I'm going to do a complete reversal. I'll go from wondering if we can get to double digit wins to wondering if we can win the whole damn thing. That's the best left side in football and the Seahawks showed us years ago how much that can mean.UOducksTK1 wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 12:43 pm If we add Pregnon and Conerly stays, our QB group will be blessed. With no Jordan, and no #1 replacement, we will need Hughes to be the guy.

Agreed, if Whittington stays, I just don't see him being a lead back. I would like to see riggs and Harris get more playing time thoughUOducksTK1 wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 4:05 pm With no Jordan, and no #1 replacement, we will need Hughes to be the guy.

From what I’ve seen, Riggs needs playing time.

I'm pretty much counting on it though I'd phrase it as he doesn't have to open things up for everyone else, just merely take advantage of the fact that he'll have a lot of single-coverage.pezsez1 wrote: Tue Jan 07, 2025 12:22 pmWhat are the chances of Moore being an instant impact player who opens things up for everyone else?If Evan Stewart comes back, you're looking at a starting lineup of Stewart, Lowe, and Benson, with McClellan, Kasper, and Moore coming off the bench.
If he's not, it better mean that someone else has truly broken out.
