So happy for Raiola! He helped us win at USC and he had a bad game against UCLA but we don’t win this game without him. He is the starter at least until Moore is back.

That should be the plan going forward. It's obvious Raiola works best as the relief pitcher, not the starter.

Oregon got away with an illegal formation on 4th and 1 out of the timeout on the final drive. If the ducks get called for it and don’t convert the 4th and 6, fans would murder Drew. Drew got one heck of a lucky break the refs missed that.

So did Nebraska luck out with bad officiating. On one of their drives, for example the playclock hit zero well before they snapped the ball. The officiating was beyond criminal.

Just count it as a makeup call for the refs giving Nebraska a phantom TD.

I'm glad we won. Obviously, always glad when we win. But man, I've got to admit, I'm having thoughts about Dan Lanning this morning. He waited far too long to switch back to QB2, almost cost us the game.

Also that officiating was so bad! I never want to see that again.

I'm not sure I really get it either, considering DR had a QBR of 2.7 last week and BT a QBR of 8.4 this week. Those aren't serious FBS level QBing numbers.

You at least add a bit of rushing/scambling component with Smith (plus 6-5 and 245 which draws more attention in short yardage).

You don't think AS is currently capable of also completing a couple 4 yard passes, which about all Dylan gave you last week and Thomas this week? We need a couple more years of development in the program before we can expect: 6-19 for 43 yards and 2 picks or 9-20 for 54 yards and 1 pick from him?

I think Smith enrolled early, so he has been in the program 22 months, that's enough time he should have a pretty good idea what's going on by now. What exactly are the coaching staff waiting for when its starting QBs are playing almost not even on the bottom of the scale poorly? They need to see the other Duck QB's QBR hit 0 first? The rating scale doesn't actually allow for negative numbers guys.

Win or lose, I was gonna be happy. Last night I got the privilege of sitting on the club seats with none other than Mike Belotti. I’ve gotten to know his nephew lately and his nephew invited me to the game, and I couldn’t say no to that. It was an honor to meet him. And for the OF4L haters, don’t worry, I behaved myself, mostly.

That is a good call. Why would he hang with us? He will go somewhere and do well. Mehringer is a grade D coach at best. I do not get what Lanning sees in him. He is the least efficient and innovative coach we have had for ages.
