I think it does. Besides for being a safety valve, Rodgers is/was used vertically giving Keenan Allen single coverage up top. That, and Maynard shouldn't lock on to Allen as much either since he has a legitimate plan b now. Also, I believe we'll see more Bigelow in the offense (probably screens and such to put him in space). Why they didn't use more Bigelow besides for the tOSU game, I have no idea. More dink & dunk should lead to less turn-overs opposed to force the ball to Keenan Allen 24/7.UOducksTK1 wrote:Rodgers did have a big game too, but I don't think that should make a substantial difference. After all, he's had Allen this whole time. I think Manyard comes back down to earth and struggles against Wazzu.Braveheart wrote:I think it's the return of Richard Rodgers that helped. I remember the announcers saying that Tedford thought Rodgers was the best TE in the country before the season. He did explode in his first game back from injury, but part of his success was the UCLA LB's no being able to keep up with him.

Keenan Allen is Maynard's half brother.

So, that's why he can't hit Allen half the time.uodux1212 wrote:Keenan Allen is Maynard's half brother.
