No, because of how they treat their head coaches. Gary just needs to look at his cohort across the street (Tubberville) to see what being a successful coach at Auburn means.

It seems like Auburn is run by their boosters and they need to have a HC that will "play ball." That is the only reasonable explanation for the Chizick hire.
