At the beginning the seemed not even close to a possibility, but little by little good news keeps coming about him and Boyd.

Great news for the Ducks

If the Ducks played OkieSue again, with Blount, Brown, and LJ in the backfield, plus Harp, Maehl, Holland, Davis, Dickson, and Jordan, with Masoli and/or Thomas, let alone Boyd, at QB, the name for the game in the history books could be, "Blood In The Saddle"!

Yeah, Bryce would have to go through at least his Junior season or redshirt as he comes in and leave as a RS Sophomore... however if he really is up to the competition (which I could easily see him beating out Crenshaw, Alston, and James) there's no way he doesn't see the field ala Stewart his Freshman year.
Brown is good enough that I don't think he will redshirt and will see plenty of playing time his first season. Blount the primary and Brown and James secondary. Crenshaw and Alston will see some playing time because the Ducks will be blowing everybody out!!!!!

In all honesty I think if we do get Brown he will play a role like Chris Harper at the end of the season this year and come in just on special plays or 1 or 2 series a game. Crenshaw has earned his do and Alston played decently this year as well.

Brown is a special player. I think he would be on the field a lot.

I think if we land Brown, he will contribute much more than Harper did this year.

BB is the kind of player that will see the field...no matter what. We are soooo deep at RB, Alston is capable, LJ is capable from what we hear, BB is more than capable if he comes, LB is a stud, AC has been forgotten about but is quite good himself. We are loaded at LB and RB

I think if we get Brown Andre Crenshaw and Chris Harper will be out utility guys Crenshaw is very capable to line up as slot, catch the short routes passes, screen passes, etc...

If we get BB, my prediction is that he will share time with LGB. LGB will start, but BB will get equal amount of carries and both will go for 1K yards in 2009. LMJ will not be ready from shoulder surgery until the latter part of the year and will come in for special plays. Harper will play a ton in the slot and get quite a few touches per game. I could also see some sets where two backs line up in the backfield like when the slot motions into a two back set. CK will find ways to get people the ball.

The Ducks will probably also be able to use BB as a WR downfield from the backfield like he was used in the AAA game!

BB is so talented he could def contribute as a slot or WR outta the backfield. We just want the ball in his hand. I dont think i have ever seen a vid of him on here so heres one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nr3c27z1Msg

You simply cannot teach that combination of explosiveness, vision, speed, and strength. All in one!

Bryce is a special athlete and earning playing time will not be an issue in my opinion. I respect most of the opinions that people put in here but the idea that he won't play much next year is crazy in my humble opinion.

No question, he will be used similar to the way Blount was this year and get over 1000 yards rushing. I think he will also get the ball a lot through the air. The Ducks will be a lot more balanced next year with Masoli figuring things out with passing the ball late in the season. They will still be run first I am sure and average 300 yards rushing a game, but will be more in the 250-275 passing yards a game.

I agree with what has been said in that Brown is such a special talent that he will be hard to keep off of the field if he were to come here.
