Yeah, that is the big question. Is he really a first day guy? I have my doubts, but maybe some team gave him a promise or something. It will be interesting to see what his 40 time looks like at the combine.
Byrd leaves early and Mays decides to return for USC. Is there something wrong with this picture? Very poor decisions by both, in my opinion.

exactly what I was thinking. I wish him the best if this is what happens and hope he goes high

Hate to see him go, but we've got the depth to replace him. I don't think it's the right decision, but his dad's well connected so I've got to think he's getting some pretty solid information on if he's ready and where he'll be picked.

When he didn't beat out WTIII or Byrd he could have gotten mad but instead he has turned into a ST animal and has just 1 year left to make an impact as a starter. Thanks Byrd for the memories and good luck in the NFL.
I have to say I have been unimpressed with Glasper to this point in his career. Not a real standout in either tackling or coverage.

Agreed completely. Byrd should've come back. His speed is VERY suspect.

He is projected as a 2nd or 3rd round pick. He should definitely stay at Oregon.

Moseley just posted on his blog that Byrd is gone. Too bad, but best of luck to him.

Well he's going to be a millionaire. Whether he's late first day or early second, he's gonna make bank. So I don't blame him, I just wish he was staying.
