Oregon has quickly moved on from all the DL commitments by offering another DL out of AL, DT Mackie McNeal II. He's someone that would plug right in to the NT position in Leavitt's 3-4 defense.

Just looked up Rector's hudl on a whim; makes me wonder who is ranking him a 3*. He has NFL size and is mobile with a good arm. Is he blowing up late? He looks like the kind of QB that would be very successful at Oregon.

He was once a Virginia commit so at least one P5 school knew about him. He passed for over 3000 yards and run for another 1000 this past season. Main reason I could see why he fell through the cracks is he played on a team with a losing record.

Leavitt is following DE/WR Habakkuk Baldonado out of FL. Doesn't seem to have a star rating and is committed to FCS Coastal Carolina. Must be some sleeper type or a possible WO candidate.

It's beginning to look more and more that these offers are based on senior year evals, rather than them trying to fill up on bread to get a full class.
