They're just clicking right now, hope they can keep this momentum going while draining the clock at the same time. Just don't get timid because you're trying to preserve your lead!

This is the best they have looked all year...mrpd21 wrote:They're just clicking right now, hope they can keep this momentum going while draining the clock at the same time. Just don't get timid because you're trying to preserve your lead!
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

WTH? Are the refs trying to baby Garza? What was that stop about?

Yeah, settle down and make those easy shots. You can't make a habit of missing too many of those.OregonFan4Life wrote:MAKE YOUR LAYUPS OREGON!!!!!!

I feel like this is what Oregon basketball does. Build up a big lead, and when they have a chance to put the team away, they start playing sloppy and either miss layups or turn the ball over allowing the opponents to creep back in it.

Getting that mojo back. 3 ball has been pretty hot.

We're on pace for over 100. Just a Master Class from Altman's squad who at no point has ever been fazed by anything Iowa has done.

Iowa just can't handle the pressure being put on them by Oregon's perimeter defenders.

There have been a few times in 1v1 where we've just simply taken the ball away like it's a little kid.greenyellow wrote:Iowa just can't handle the pressure being put on them by Oregon's perimeter defenders.

First, I'm so productive at work right now.
Second, what's amazing is Oregon just isn't shooting super hot, they're shooting well, they're just shredding Iowa's defense. This isn't like that game in MKA vs 5th ranked Arizona with the Final Four team that couldn't miss, they're just getting open and making a ton of easy shots. Love the way they're playing.

We've also done a great job reining in fouls this half while still staying stingy on D. Was worried we'd lose a starter or two down the stretch, but things are looking pretty good on that front.
