I was trying to find the tweet with a transcript of that interview to post so people would see the visit was more just being friendly rather than anything serious. Dickey didn't have much of a relationship with MC or the past staff but loves Adams and Dillingham so I'm not as worried as others.

Who knows if the collective offered more money to keep him. Sucks, this dark money collective/operative. But, being an early commit, he can’t be unhappy with one of the top 3 QB’s committing to UO, in Moore.

My recollection is that Hines was usually right when he used his catch phrase, but hopefully it is wrongly applied to this situation.

That was back before Oregon consistently got good recruits and he said that for every single recruit if I remember correctly, so it wasn’t that hard to be wrong a majority of the time.

Candidly, I used to like Hines. I liked his honesty about recruits that we had NO chance of getting who happened to mention the Ducks. "he ain't comin"

No. He just used it for any 4* or 5*, and back then it was a solid bet they weren’t coming. He didn’t do anything special, besides be negative.
