I really want Hall to be a Duck, and Holland already is a breakaway threat. Hall would be a huge get at this point!

Well I just stated that I am not ecstatic about Hall but I don't get why everyone is ragging on his attitude. He is a 17 year old that many around the nation know and are pursuing. I am pretty sure that all of us at 17 might have a pretty big ego if we were known nationally and had been shown on national tv. He will get here and realize he is one of the "flock" and get over that.

If Diante Jackson is in fact a Duck, if you add Hall and Tuinei to the already deep WR position and maybe 2-3 four star guys next year combined with the triple run threat of Masoli, Blount and LMJ (possibly Brown) and Masoli's development the Ducks will be really dangerous offensively and with some work on the defense they could make a run at a NC (maybe as soon as next year)

Nice commit, but if I had to make a choice between Jackson or Hall I would pick Jackson.
Good thing thing I don;t have to make that choice, since they are most likely both ducks!!!!

When is Hall supposed to announce? I haven't heard anything besides speculation which I appreciate but now I'm antsy to find out where he's headed for his college years...

I read that Hall might play safety in college, but who knows what he would play at Oregon.

Would we be recruiting Hall as a WR or a S? At this point, we may need him more for S since we lost Leon to academics even though Leon was more of an immediate need to fill Chung's spot. However, there's no reason to think that he couldn't also play WR since most of our class so far is on the defensive side of the ball. I'm just considering Hall an ATH recruit.

I think we are recruiting him as a WR. I believe he has said that WR is what he wants to play in college and we are one of the only schools that was offering him that. If we gave Harper a legit shot at QB, I don't see why we wouldn't give him his shot at WR.
FWIW, I liked Hall's attitude at the AA game. He expressed how he didn't appreciate the pressure that the media was putting on the kids to make a commitment during the game. I like that he was vocal about it and I think he handled himself well.

I noticed and liked his attitude too karlhungis. Seemed like he maintained a bit more maturity than some others. I hope we get the kid.
