With this game almost over the refs had to leave their mark with another garbage 5th foul this time on Tracey.

Good win ducks, Shelstad getting to the free throw line and second half defense won this game for Oregon. Nowhere near Oregon’s best game, they can and need to play a lot better than this going forward, but a win is a win!

All in all a solid win for this team to stay undefeated while they still get all the kinks worked out.
Definite trap game situation with USC coming off a terrible loss and wanting to wash that taste out and Oregon coming off winning a money game but they did what we've seen them do so many times throughout the Altman era.

It will be interesting to watch how USC fares at home vs traveling Big 10 schools. Ducks seem to have a pattern of struggling for 3/4 of the game and then figuring it out in the last 5-10 minutes. At least they seem to play with confidence at the end of games while opponents melt under the pressure. Good win.

Even with a B/B- game, Oregon found a way to win this one. Shelstad was smart to just start driving it once he knew USC couldn't stay in front of him. Also good adjustments defensively by Altman to finally start forcing USC into turnovers or tough shots. Not every game is going to be pretty so glad Oregon got the Big Ten road win before UCLA comes to town.

Mookie Cook with 4 fouls in six minutes? Yikes. Don’t know how they are doing it. Games aren’t won on box scores, but the box scores would lead you to believe they aren’t what their record is. In Altman we trust.

Second half deficits are no big deal when you have veteran depth.

A few of those fouls were ridiculous calls by the refs.

I haven't watched the game and was figuring that here was likely another example of the Ducks' playing down to an opponent. And maybe it still was to some extent, but as I now see that USC just practically ran UW, who lost by 11 at UCLA on Tuesday, out of the Huskies' own gym, 85-61, are the Trojans' maybe getting things figured out? Not that UW is very good, but I'm feeling a bit better about this "difficult" (road) win.

They had a brutal loss the game before us so there was some pride at play in that game for them to not play so terrible. I also thought it was an easy let-down game since the team just won 500K a few days prior.
UCLA today at home hopefully just sees another Duck W!
