Oregon gets their first transfer by adding Texas F Devon Pryor. He's not a big scorer or shooter but looks to have some length and athleticism. Probably more of a depth/rotation guy and basically replaces Mookie Cook.

Meh. It’s SF/PF depth. At least he hits his FTs lol.

Altman’s offense requires the point and three rotating wings to be competent from three. This kid shoots 18%.

Not sure I get this one.

I don’t think he’s a wing. More of a 4.

On the offensive end there isn’t really a difference between the 2, 3, and 4 in an Altman offense. They’re all going to be pinwheeling around the five and catching the ball on the perimeter. Altman has never played a power forward on the low block or anything. His offense is really a point, a center, and three wings that are interchangeable.

I’ll root for the kid for sure. I just don’t anticipate him being a good fit.

Elgin Cook shot 15% from 3PT line in his first year at Oregon, and he played more than Pryor did in his first two years.

With that being said, I’m not super excited about this pickup too, but I guess depth is fine.

It'd be nice if Oregon could get a consistent 3-point shooter like Anthony Mathis, Tyler Dorsey, or Bryce Taylor again.

Still hopeful he comes back, we'll see. He said if he comes back, it'll only be to Oregon.

Missed this over the weekend, but UCLA lands perhaps the best player in the portal..

Bittle declares for NBA Draft

I think this is good for Bittle and Oregon, I don't see him on the NBA radar now, but another solid year with the Ducks could put him there.

I think he returns and he entered the draft to get some evaluations on his game.

Definitely a positive for the Ducks. I don't think Bittle has the athleticism to get drafted, so he'll likely get that eval and be back. Excited to have him back!

This is certainly what I want to believe!
