He's all Tackle.

OL Talent priority is typically:
1 - LT
2 - C/RT (scheme)
3 - RT/C
4 - LG
5 - RG
Is that your general list or for him specifically?

I think they'll try him at tackle. If he struggles, I could see a bull of a guard. I think he could end up getting snaps at both.

So after the past couple weeks are we good on OL or do we still need more?

I wouldn't hate it if they found an overgrown tight end who is a surefire tackle. Kelvin Obot was that but he committed to Utah. I don't know what the rest of the target list looks like. They are in the driver's seat for an interior lineman in Jax Tanner who will do an LDS mission before arriving on campus anywhere.

Husky fans are absolutely broken on social media. For the last month, they've been prattling on about how Oregon's recruiting was cooked now that the House settlement had somehow taken away their NIL advantage. Now, they're somehow trying to convince themselves and others Beaver isn't a good QB, Keli is a reach at OL, and Iheanacho is a fallback option.

Generally speaking.

He looks like he's got good feet for his size so I think he'll be able to work in space as a Tackle without needing to kick inside.

Would love to see kodi green decommit from UW and recommit and sign with us. I havent seen any of his highlights but just the sound of that would be music to my ears.

After seeing that Texas Tech signed Felix Ojo at 5.1MM over 3 years, and Jackson Cantwell went to Miami for roughly $2MM/yr, in very curious what Oregon is paying for Immanuel.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the ball park of those guys. Unlike many top prospects, II was honest and straightforward when asked about NIL and said the NIL package Oregon offered was among some of the reasons why he signed with us. Also,Oregon couldn't lose out on II from a positional need and recruiting reputation/PR perspective, after striking out on the few top OL prospects this class.

I have no doubts this is the case and haven’t heard anything different. What I have heard is what Oregon is doing a little different than other schools with large NIL coffers is other than a comparable “signing bonus” the contracts they are offering pay out on the backend and are performance based. By performance they are not just talking on field numbers but over all contributions in practices, training, academics and volunteer work, so you can still get paid even if you’re not getting game reps, like the case often is with even highly rated underclass men. This wasn’t necessarily stated but implied on one of the podcasts I listen to like Joel Klatt, Josh Pate’s nationally and then your local homer podcasts like Austen Audibles, Ducks of a Feather plus others ESPN, BIG10 football etc. I don’t remember which one. I’m just curious if anyone else has heard anything similar. It makes sense to me to package it that way. You weed out the only coming for cash recruits and reward those who choose to stay instead of transfer. Yes you’ll miss out on a few guys and you’ll still have players transferring out but overall on the two deep you’re more likely to keep it intact. If a recruit regardless of rating ends up over performing you can always renegotiate.

Hopefully he’s just doing it for fun, if I was a recruit I’d take all of my OV’s, but still can’t help but be a little nervous.

I thought he'd already done that? Weren't Penn State and Maryland officials? Were there others? Is there a cap on how many a player can take?

Schools will try to flip recruits all the way up to the early signing day. I’ve heard Auburn is going hard at him. This is new era of college recruiting.

I did read he already scheduled these before committing to Oregon so he’s honoring them, so doesn’t seem as worrisome now. The Penn St visit is when they host Oregon, not sure if that’s a good thing or bad thing.
