Yeah he got so conservative but got bailed out with a crazy pick that led to a field goal that ended up being the difference in the game.

As for ND, that OLine is rough, and their OC had some very questionable playcalls. It was clear ND is capable of going deep but either the OC had no trust in his OLine or he just likes to keep the field short, but I was very perplexed by their OC.

If Miami didn’t have Cristobal, I’d say they are national championship contenders with that passing game, but Cristobal is gonna Cristobal and they’ll have a couple inexcusable losses this season.

Considering recruits often commit to coaches and not necessarily programs, it's possible. I think it's wishful thinking that DeBoer gets fired though. The program would really have to tank for that to happen

I see treads and old weapons on that team so a tank is possible

I actually like Notre Dame losing here. They have a pretty easy schedule. Bye week before playing Texas A&M next. Then maybe USC later in the year. Any team can give them fits, but I don't see any other difficult teams on their schedule. Both the games I mentioned are home games for them too.

Part of me sees them as a future Big Ten team and wants them to succeed, but the other part of me sees that their playoff checks aren't split 18 ways and wants them to end up in a useless bowl game.

It makes good sense to add ND to the Big 10, but I will still root against them in most situations! To me, rooting for ND hurts as much as rooting for Washington which only happens when their win will in some way help the Ducks.

Belichik is getting blown out at home in his debut, mainly due to costly mistakes which I think a lot of people weren’t expecting from a Belichik coached team.

I wouldn't start laughing too soon. If they end up firing Deboer, they'll likely come after Kirby Smart and Dan Lanning hard.

After giving Debirer $60 mill to go away, I doubt they will have enough to get in a bidding war with UO or UGA. They can probably stag Lane or Cignetti

To be serious for a moment, if Alabama really did get rid of DeBoer, I'd take Pete Kwiatkowski away from Texas. I truly have no idea why Sarkisian gets so much credit when it's Texas' defense that has brought the squad back to relevancy.
